Sharing . . .

Have you ever wondered what makes gardeners so Big Hearted? Compliment a gardener on how great their Rosemary looks, or how beautiful those Poppies are and you'll probably end up being sent home with a cutting, some seeds or a small plant they are sharing! To garden is to share, just like to share a recipe and then later find out how it turns out when someone else prepares it.

We are preparing to share the beauty of our gardens this Spring, as we've been busy, starting seeds, pruning roses, and working the fields for the new season.

Our herb for March is Rosemary, so be sure to read it and get as excited about this wonderful herb as we've been for years. See how to use it when preparing our Rosemary-Peach Chicken recipe. We have Daylight Savings starting on the 11th of March and the Spring Equinox on March 20th. But don't forget St. Patrick's Day on the 17th and get into some green from the herb farm.

Remember our 13th Annual Spring Herb Fest is April 20-22nd, 2007. Check back soon for more information!
