An Herb Garden is the heart
of a home.
It's a place for creating and eating, laughing and loving...
That fact may have escaped you, but
it is of importance to the Fredericksburg Herb Farm, whose folks
have a "Big as Texas" capacity for putting on a festival,
most particularly when inspired by Spring's arrival. Gardeners,
cooks, craftsman and women, artists, and children can take full
advantage of it too!
On April 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2007,
the Fredericksburg Herb Farm invites all to celebrate their gardens.
The Farm's Eleventh Annual Herbfest will feature herbalists, chefs, landscape designers, cookbook and
garden authors professionals who make the heart of their
home in and around the herb garden to share with us their
favorite herbs and how they use them!
Come join the Fredericksburg Herb
Farm for a full palette of gardening workshops, food and wine tasting,
art and entertainment, along with shopping for herbal necessities
and niceties!
The kiss of the sun for pardon, the song
of the birds for mirth
One is nearer God's Heart in a garden Than anywhere else on earth
